Description
The employer is hiring an Adjunct Instructor, Chemistry for a continuous posting. The role teaches General Chemistry and/or Preparatory Chemistry lectures and/or laboratory sections, uses Moodle, supervises students, maintains lab safety and attendance records, and grades work. The schedule is variable, typically 1–2 days or evenings per week during the semester, with 5–6 hours per course. Applicants need a master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry; previous teaching experience, Moodle experience, and experience with an online homework platform are preferred. The salary range is $33.47 to $35.76 per hour, depending on degree.
