Joliet Junior College is hiring a part-time Adjunct Instructor, Communication to teach one or more communication courses for one semester. The instructor reports to the Department Chair or Instructional Coordinator, follows college and departmental policies, participates in evaluations, and is required to be willing to teach at other campus sites. The role requires a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Speech or Speech Communication, instructional technology expertise, and a commitment to teaching and learning; collegiate, community college, online, course-development, and multicultural teaching experience are preferred. Compensation is $1,161 per contact hour for candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree and $1,220 per contact hour for candidates with a Ph.D., Ed.D., or J.D. during the Fall 2026 to Summer 2027 hiring range.
