Description

The Adjunct Instructor, EMS (Continuing Education Division) assists with teaching EMT Basic, EMT Intermediate, Medical Responder, and other trauma or medical continuing education courses. Duties include classroom setup and breakdown, equipment use, current EMS standards, and management of college paperwork and schedules. The role is variable, primarily evening with possible daytime and weekend work, and pays $17.50 or more per hour. Applicants need at least three years of relevant EMS, acute-care medical, or public-health mental-health counseling experience, current certification in an EMS or related credential, and willingness to obtain NCOEMS Level I or II Instructor Certification. The posting is continuous and may be filled on an as-needed basis.
