Description
The Adjunct Instructor, English is a contract position teaching developmental and curriculum-level English courses such as ENG 025, ENG 110, ENG 111, ENG 112, ENG 114, ENG 232, ENG 241, and ENG 242. Duties include delivering day, evening, online, and hybrid courses; developing materials; maintaining LMS gradebooks; communicating with students; submitting census and final grades; and completing Title IX and technology-security training. The role may require off-campus teaching at Madison Campus or high schools, with variable schedules and 3–12 credit hours per week. A master’s degree in English or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in English is required, while tutoring, mentoring, or classroom teaching experience and hybrid or online LMS experience are preferred. The posting pays $1,476 per course.
