Description
The Fire Instructor provides classroom and laboratory instruction for fire programs at WCTC under general supervision. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, practical hands-on instruction, technology integration, and familiarity with fire and emergency medical services. Applicants must obtain and maintain a current Wisconsin Technical College System teaching certification, hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and have substantial verifiable occupational experience. Compensation includes a $40 hourly lab and certification exam instructional rate, a $20 hourly non-instructional rate, and a $46–$58 hourly lead-instructor rate. The position is continuous, with applications reviewed on November 1 and June 1 each year, and requires variable Monday-through-Sunday daytime and evening hours.
