Description
The Adjunct Instructor, Industrial Sewing delivers hands-on, instructor-led training for an intensive industrial sewing bootcamp, covering machine operation, setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, production methods, quality standards, safety, and individualized student coaching. The role also maintains student records, training documentation, equipment inventories, classroom and off-site training areas, and program compliance materials, while collaborating with program staff, industry partners, and community organizations. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, three to five years of hands-on industrial or production sewing experience, and experience in a manufacturing, textile, apparel, upholstery, or similar production environment; prior teaching, workforce-development, recordkeeping, or industrial production experience is preferred. Compensation is $25–$30 per contact hour.
