The employer is recruiting an Adjunct Instructor, Job Preparedness Skills to teach courses focused on employability, participant assessment, personal development, soft skills, and job readiness. Duties include covering topics such as computer skills, resume writing, job searching, interviewing, money management, self-assessment, and career exploration; developing course materials; maintaining student records; and building trust with diverse students. The role is contract-based, variable in schedule and hours, and may be performed off campus. Applicants must have relevant subject-matter knowledge, experience with diverse populations, and the ability to build trusting relationships; previous adult-teaching experience and knowledge of the local job market are preferred.
