Description
The Adjunct Instructor, Physics will teach undergraduate physics lecture and laboratory courses, including Applied, Conceptual, and General Physics, in day, evening, and hybrid formats. The role involves supervising students, developing syllabi and teaching materials, delivering lectures, maintaining professional development, using instructional technology, teaching laboratory safety, maintaining student records, and participating in course assessment and improvement. Applicants need a master’s degree in Physics or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in physics, college teaching experience in physics, and experience with Moodle software; three years of college teaching experience and hybrid-course experience are preferred. The position pays $30.75 per contact hour.
