Black Hawk College is hiring adjunct/part-time instructors for its Nursing Assistant Program at the Community Education Center in Kewanee, Illinois. The instructor will prepare syllabi, deliver lectures and activities, evaluate student performance, and maintain instructional materials. Requirements include a current Illinois RN license, one year of long-term care nursing experience, teaching experience or completion of the Illinois Department of Public Health training program, approval by the Illinois Department of Public Health for theory, clinical, and Alzheimer's instruction, and either a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing plus a train-the-trainer course. Compensation is paid per equated hour based on education level, and the college states it does not sponsor employment visas.
