Description
The Dispatcher coordinates and dispatches traffic control crews to job sites, preparing crews for scheduled assignments, communicating traffic-control requirements and special considerations, monitoring work, managing callouts and scheduling changes, and serving as a primary contact for field crews, customers, project teams, and internal operations. The role requires knowledge of traffic control and work-zone setups, the ability to read construction and traffic-control plans, strong communication and organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
