Description
The Technical Department Acquisition Advocate serves as the Department’s Project Manager for acquisition requirements and the lead interface for the Department’s contract portfolio in the Ocean Science Autonomous Systems & Ranges Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV in Newport, Rhode Island. The role manages contract commitments, procurement packages, pre-award actions, requisitions, invoices, deliverables, CPARS reviews, contract monitoring, technical and business requirements, and classified-information safeguards. It requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, a U.S. citizenship, suitability for federal employment, a security clearance, and the ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites.
