Description

The System Safety Program Lead will manage cost, schedule, and performance for programs in the System Safety Branch of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, coordinate with JXPS and safety-review personnel, develop and track schedules, brief program sponsors, and analyze ordnance and weapon-system hazards using PHA, SSHA, and SHA techniques. The role also develops test plans for ordnance and weapon-system approvals and oversees business operations, requiring at least one year of specialized experience at the NT-04/GS-11/12 level, a U.S. citizenship, security clearance, and potential travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites.
