Description
The part-time Adoption Coordinator supports the Nebraska Humane Society’s adoption program by serving as the first point of contact for potential adopters, guiding them through the adoption process, reviewing applications, matching animals with suitable homes, conducting meet-and-greets, and supporting foster-to-adopt arrangements. The role also involves educating visitors about responsible pet ownership, representing the shelter at community events, using the Chameleon shelter software, and collaborating with shelter staff, volunteers, and the medical team. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, with weekday hours from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and weekend hours from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
