Description
Celanese is hiring an Advanced Chemist, Product Technology for its Mylar Specialty Films Joint Venture in Virginia. The role develops and commercializes technology for polyester-film product development programs, leads new-product development, coordinates plant trials and material logistics, supports coating and polymer formulation work, and engages with customers, suppliers, and development partners. The position requires technical subject-matter expertise, project management, analytical and decision-making skills, and experience with patents and intellectual property; an MS or PhD in organic or polymer chemistry is preferred, along with Six Sigma training. The expected salary range is $103,600 to $170,900.
