Description
Amazon Japan is hiring an Advanced Engineer to lead the installation, commissioning, testing, and acceptance of material-handling and automation equipment for new fulfillment and sort centers. The role manages technical issues, safety, quality, schedule, and cost; coordinates with global engineering teams and internal and external stakeholders; develops standards and best practices; and guides the technical capabilities of the team. The position is based at the Tokyo Office and requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, at least five years of technical leadership and project management experience, cross-functional and partner-coordination experience, MS Office and CAD proficiency, and Japanese and English business communication skills.
