Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Five (5) years recent Emergency/ICU/Flight Registered Nurse experience within a level 1 or level 2 trauma center, or tertiary center.
Two years of AHN Critical Care Transport RN experience.
LifeFlight FP-C transitioning to RN must have the equivalent of 5 years RN experience.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of RN ICU experience at an ICU within a level 1 or level 2 trauma center or tertiary center.
Two years of experience as a LifeFlight paramedic will be considered equivalent to one year of Registered Nurse experience.
Six (6) years of LifeFlight paramedic experience being equivalent to three (3) years of Registered Nurse experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Active involvement with Quality Improvement initiatives.
Participate in LifeFlight quality assurance activities including chart audits, case reviews, and monthly Team and Safety meetings.
Completes all annual education requirements and training.
Maintains expected state of transport readiness by maintaining medication and supply inventory in the aircraft by completing shift checks and restocking equipment and supplies.
Maintains storage of medications within established safety and security controls.
