Description
Wabtec is hiring a Truck Advanced Lead Engineer to own the technical development of locomotive truck (bogie) subsystems and components. The role leads design, requirements capture, trade-off analysis, risk mitigation, cross-functional coordination, documentation, and project delivery across new-product introduction, requisition, productivity, service productivity, and reliability projects. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least nine years of relevant design experience, and expertise in heavy fabrication, welded and bolted joints, strain gauging, component selection, CAD, and rail or automotive standards.
