Description
Wabtec is hiring a Lead / Advanced Lead Engineer – Embedded Hardware Design to lead the architecture, design, development, validation, and technical leadership of embedded electronic hardware for brake electronics and transit applications. The role owns hardware work packages from concept through industrialization, collaborates with systems, software, validation, manufacturing, sourcing, and supplier teams, and mentors engineers. It requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics, electrical, or a related field, along with 5–10 years of relevant experience depending on the Lead or Advanced Lead track, and expertise in analog and digital electronics, embedded hardware, power electronics, communication protocols, PCB design, hardware bring-up, and verification.
