Description
JB Poindexter & Co is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Program Lead to lead automation projects from concept through commissioning across its manufacturing sites in North America. The role manages multiple projects involving robotics, machine tending, welding, fiberglass, general assembly, and other automated processes; develops scopes, equipment specifications, budgets, schedules, and validation plans; coordinates vendors, integrators, manufacturing teams, and stakeholders; leads design reviews, FAT/SAT, risk assessments, training, and plant launches; and advances Lean, safety, quality, cost, and throughput improvements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering (or equivalent), at least 10 years of related manufacturing engineering experience including five years of program/project leadership, and significant travel.
