JB Poindexter & Co. is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Program Lead to lead automation projects from concept through commissioning across multiple manufacturing sites in North America. The role covers identifying and justifying automation opportunities, developing concepts and equipment specifications, selecting and managing vendors or system integrators, validating designs, overseeing FAT/SAT and launch, and training plant personnel. It also involves Lean process improvement, safety and quality compliance, project budget and timeline control, standardized work, PFMEAs, risk assessments, new product introduction, manufacturing cell design, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, at least 10 years of directly related manufacturing engineering or advanced manufacturing experience including at least five years of program or project leadership, and 35–50% travel.
