Description
GlobalFoundries is hiring a Process Engineering Intern at its Fab 9 location in Essex Junction, Vermont. The intern will sustain and run the fab floor, resolve equipment and process issues, establish equipment quality control plans, drive continuous improvement, maintain installation qualification roadmaps, and design experiments to optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes. The role requires a sophomore pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field, a 3.0 GPA, English fluency, and availability for at least 40 hours per week. Preferred qualifications include prior internship or co-op experience, leadership experience, project management skills, semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, and knowledge of statistical process control and design of experiments. The expected salary range is $20.00 to $40.00 per hour.
