Description
General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking an experienced Advanced Network Design Engineer to design and plan network systems, providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. The role involves delivering information for hardware/software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for efficient solutions to meet current and future capacity requirements. The engineer will also coordinate third-party maintenance, troubleshoot issues with users and administrators, and maintain technical expertise in various networking aspects like routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges, and gateways. The position requires working with advanced technologies such as AI, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native, and Quantum Physics to address customer missions in cyber, RF, undersea, and interstellar domains.
