Description
The Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) provides guideline-supported HIV treatment and comprehensive primary care to people living with HIV/AIDS in a federally funded clinic. The role includes independent patient care, antiretroviral therapy management, medical evaluations, treatment monitoring, counseling, multidisciplinary collaboration, and documentation. Candidates need an active Virginia medical license, at least two years of HIV treatment experience, EHR and telemedicine proficiency, and the ability to prescribe; community health center, Ryan White clinic, and postgraduate HIV training experience are preferred.
