Description
The Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for cardiology in Ocala, Florida. The full-time role combines outpatient and inpatient responsibilities with approximately one weekend per month, while PRN coverage provides occasional inpatient weekend coverage. Duties include evaluating and managing acute and chronic cardiovascular patients, hospital rounding and consultations, outpatient visits, cardiovascular testing, treatment-plan collaboration, patient education, and clinical documentation. Board certification, an active Florida license or eligibility to obtain one, and strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills are required; cardiology experience is preferred but not required for the full-time role, and new graduates are welcome.
