Description
The Nurse Practitioner provides clinical patient care at McPherson Square and Cleveland Park community sites under physician supervision. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, history and physical examinations, prescribing, interpreting laboratory and radiological data, monitoring treatment response, documenting care, recommending therapeutic interventions, counseling patients, ordering treatments, and supervising nursing, physician assistant, health science, and medical students. The role requires a master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies, current ANCC certification and D.C. licensure as an NP, and at least five years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience.
