The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center is hiring an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with Full Practice Authority for its outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment Program. The role provides direct medical care to clients with substance use disorders, including admission and annual history and physicals, laboratory and medication management, treatment-plan development, referrals, crisis intervention, and education. It is a 20-hour-per-week schedule with work hours determined by clinic needs, and emergency coverage may be required. Applicants must graduate from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner program, hold the required Illinois advanced-practice license and controlled-substance registration, and live in Illinois or Wisconsin.
