Walsall Council is hiring an Advanced Practitioner for its Walsall Adult Social Care, East Locality Team. The role supports the Team Manager, oversees staff performance and compliance with legislation, policies, and Social Work England standards, and leads practice improvement through mentoring, supervision, appraisal, and professional development. Responsibilities include strengths-based assessments, Care Act 2014 support planning and reviews, risk and mental capacity assessments, and adult safeguarding enquiries.
