Walsall Council is hiring an Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist to support the Younger Adults Team and provide professional support to Occupational Therapists in the Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Teams. The role includes direct line management, prioritisation and allocation of work, children’s OT assessment referrals, complex casework, and person-centred practice. Applicants need at least two years of post-qualification experience in a relevant social care setting, supervisory or mentoring experience, and strong decision-making and leadership skills. The salary is £48,738–£51,928 per annum, and the closing date is 1 November 2026.
