This role involves leading advanced engineering support and process optimization for the Coinage Department's manufacturing operations. The individual will leverage subject matter expertise in electroplating, burnishing, and annealing to drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-performance. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting complex process issues, implementing cost-improvement initiatives, executing major process improvement programs using statistical methods, developing documentation, and evaluating new equipment.
