Relativity is hiring an Advanced Software Engineer for Gavel, a Microsoft Word-native legal document-editing and drafting platform. The role builds full-stack AI features across agent tools, prompts, services, APIs, the Word add-in, and web app, while also evaluating features, fixing bugs, writing tests, and collaborating with senior engineers. It is intended for an early-career to mid-level engineer and may be based remotely in the United States or in Seattle or Chicago. The position requires at least two years of professional software development experience, proficiency in TypeScript or Python, full-stack web development experience, and hands-on experience with LLM-based agentic solutions. Compensation is $103,000 to $155,000 plus benefits, a performance bonus, and equity.
