The role teaches youth aged 16–24 welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, GMAW/Spray, FCAW-G, and GTAW under the D.1.1 structural welding code, while also counseling students, coordinating with staff, developing lessons, and maintaining a safe training environment. The position pays $60,000+ based on experience, offers health, dental, vision, prescription drug, and life insurance, and requires a high school diploma or GED, a Utah teaching certificate with a welding endorsement or relevant AWS or NCCER certification, 6G SMAW and GMAW or FCAW-G certification, API code familiarity, youth-teaching experience, communication and computer skills, and a valid driver's license.
