Description
Western Governors University (WGU) is hiring a remote Northeast Region Advancement Director to raise and steward major philanthropic gifts of $100,000 or more from foundations, corporations, alumni, friends, and individual constituents. The role manages a portfolio of approximately 100–125 prospects and donors, conducts donor visits and up to 30% travel, develops proposals, cultivates relationships, closes and stewards six-figure gifts, maintains donor records, and collaborates with university leadership and Advancement stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree and six years of major-gift fundraising and relationship-management experience are required; the position is full-time and based from a home office in an eligible Northeast or Mid-Atlantic state.
