Thiess is hiring a full-time Advisor, Health and Safety for its Olive Downs Complex in Queensland. The role supports safe and efficient production, maintains the Safety and Health Management System, facilitates risk assessments, investigates incidents, coordinates rehabilitation and return-to-work activities, supports occupational hygiene and health promotion, and develops safety communications. The position follows an 8/6 roster and requires a tertiary qualification in Occupational/Work Health & Safety, relevant training, Queensland coal mining safety knowledge, and experience with risk assessments, safety documentation, and rehabilitation activities.
