Description
Archer is hiring an Aerodynamics/Performance Engineer to conceptually size the primary aerodynamic surfaces of a next-generation eVTOL, build drag polars, trim the vehicle across hover, transition, and cruise, and estimate range, endurance, speed, and climb. The role supports vehicle-level configuration trades and collaborates with vehicle and powertrain architects, requiring low-fidelity aerodynamic tools, handbook-based sizing, flight-mechanics analysis, performance estimation, and proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar. The position targets a base pay range of $152,800 to $227,600 and does not offer work visa sponsorship.
