Lockheed Martin is hiring a full-time Aeronautical Engineer for its Service Life Analysis Group to apply durability and damage-tolerance analysis to airframe structures in Air Mobility and Maritime Missions and Advanced Development Programs. The role performs crack initiation and crack growth analysis, supports Material Review Board decisions and field dispositions, develops force-management data, creates Force Structural Maintenance Plans and Individual Aircraft Tracking records, and contributes to aircraft structural integrity programs. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, experience with stress, fatigue, durability, and damage-tolerance analysis, and familiarity with structural analysis tools and aircraft maintenance requirements. The position requires U.S. citizenship, secret clearance eligibility, and offers a salary range of $70,500 to $130,900 plus medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
