Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, SOF GLSS is hiring an experienced Aeronautical Sciences Engineer in Lexington, Kentucky to modify military aircraft and ground vehicles and ensure airworthiness. The role covers stress, loads, vibration, fatigue, fracture, thermal, and aerodynamic analysis from initial design through production support, as well as proposals, schedules, budgets, customer presentations, and collaboration across disciplines. Candidates need Microsoft Office experience, finite-element modeling experience with ANSYS, FEMAP, NASTRAN, or similar software, classical stress-analysis knowledge, and the ability to present designs to customers. The full-time position offers a salary range of $63,400 to $117,800 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
