Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring a full-time F-35 Flight Test - Weapons Variant Lead to serve as the technical lead and primary consultant for F-35 weapons flight test planning, requirements, configurations, schedules, forecasts, and constraint resolution. The role coordinates with the JPO, test sites, production, program managers, and other organizations; leads assigned flight test programs; maintains project status; and represents the Flight Test Organization at program forums. The position requires flight test execution or strategic planning experience, technical project and team leadership experience, customer interface experience, and a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, with a final Secret clearance and special access required to start. Travel averages one week per month to locations including Arlington, Virginia; Edwards Air Force Base, California; Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Maryland; and weapon vendor sites. The salary range is $129,000 to $239,600, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
