Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring a Flight Test Engineer to support the F-35B and F-35C aircraft within the F-35 Integrated Test Force at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. The role plans, schedules, and executes flight test missions; develops test plans and flight test cards; communicates aircraft requirements and configurations; ensures aircraft readiness; follows safety plans and standard operating procedures; conducts mission briefs and debriefs; and evaluates flight results. The position requires U.S. citizenship, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related master’s degree with three years of experience, five years of professional experience, advanced communication and coordination skills, knowledge of modern fighter aircraft test techniques, situational awareness and crew resource management, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. The full-time salary range is $95,900 to $178,100, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
