Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring a Propulsion Design Engineer to develop preliminary and detail designs for helicopter propulsion systems, including engine installation and interfaces, inlets and exhausts, fuel systems, fire protection, and ECS systems. The role involves preparing layouts and drawings with CATIA V5 and/or 3Dx/V6, participating in design proposals and product-lifecycle support, and may require occasional travel. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in aeronautical, mechanical, or related engineering or equivalent experience, more than five years of aircraft-design technical background, and experience with 3D CAD modelling. The full-time salary range is $95,900 to $178,100, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
