Cal Poly Pomona is hiring one tenure-track Assistant Professor of UAS Autonomy and Geographical Information Systems in its Department of Aerospace Engineering. The position begins in Fall 2027, is on-site in Pomona, and offers a salary range of $107,312 to $111,312. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate, upper-division, and graduate courses; developing curriculum in UAS autonomy, GIS, artificial intelligence, geospatial data analysis, and related areas; mentoring students; pursuing external funding; and establishing an active scholarly program. Applicants need a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Analysis, or a closely aligned field, with a completed degree by the start date.
