BEAM is hiring after-school math educators to run a pilot program for 4th graders in New York City schools. The role involves leading weekly clubs at assigned schools, tracking student engagement and progress, and collaborating virtually with the team to refine curriculum and activities based on classroom observations. Candidates should have at least two years of math teaching experience, preferably as the main classroom instructor, with experience teaching students in grades 3-7, strong math skills through Algebra 1, proficiency with Google Workspace, and a commitment to equity, student-centered instruction, and adaptable pilot-program work. The position is part-time, pays $40 per hour, requires availability Monday through Friday during after-school hours, and is expected to start on August 24, 2026.
