LEARN LA is hiring Youth Leaders and Youth Leader Substitutes for part-time, hourly work at elementary and middle schools in El Monte, California. The role involves leading academic, physical activity, and enrichment groups; supervising approximately 20 students; providing tutoring and homework assistance; following lesson plans; maintaining program safety and organization; and communicating with students, families, teachers, and administrators. Assignments may be regular or substitute, with flexible Monday-Friday availability and occasional weekend work. Candidates must have a high school diploma, pass the district instructional assistant examination, and meet background-check, TB clearance, and travel requirements.
