Progress Rail is hiring an Aftercast Operative in South Queensferry to maintain the safe and efficient flow of castings through a production department. The role involves precision grinding, inspection, cutting, quality checks, manual handling, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality procedures, with a two-shift pattern from Monday to Thursday. Candidates should have manufacturing or foundry experience, knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations, physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. The position offers a base salary of £30,960 plus a £3,440.64 shift allowance, along with training, pension, life assurance, and other employee benefits.
