NORY is hiring Assistant Teachers for its Afterschool STEM enrichment programs in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The role supports children ages 3–12 with coding and technology projects, manages classroom dynamics, prepares materials, reviews lesson plans, and completes post-class clean-up. The schedule is flexible, typically 1–4 days per week with 1–2 hours between 3–5 PM, and compensation is $25 per hour. Candidates need at least six months of experience working with children in an educational setting, along with enthusiasm, creativity, and professional classroom-management skills. No prior coding experience is required because NORY provides STEM training.
