Description
The City of Hammond is hiring an Afterschool Staff member to support the organization and operation of an afterschool program for children in grades 3 to 8. The role involves leading educational and recreational activities, assisting with homework and tutorials, advising and counseling participants, maintaining safety and program records, and participating in activities at the Hammond Recreation Center and Zemurray Park. The position requires at least two years of college or high school graduation with sufficient youth-experience substitution, and must be held from September 2026 through May 2027.
