Description
Matter Intelligence is hiring an Agent Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate production systems that combine physics-informed models, LLMs, VLMs, world models, scientific code, data services, and deterministic business rules into secure, evidence-backed intelligence and action. The role covers agent runtimes, durable execution, retrieval and RAG, memory, indexing, evidence lineage, continuous evaluation, reusable APIs, and human-in-the-loop workflows. It is an onsite individual contributor role based in San Francisco, California, with requirements for production AI infrastructure, distributed systems, LLM/VLM systems, security, and permissions, plus preferred experience in high-consequence intelligence systems and multimodal applications.
