Booz Allen is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to build autonomous, goal-oriented AI systems and shift AI strategy from passive LLM chatbots to proactive multi-agent orchestrations. The role involves designing agent architectures with LangChain, LangGraph, and AutoGen; deploying systems using Model Context Protocol and Agent-to-Agent protocols; building RAG pipelines with knowledge graphs; fine-tuning small language models for edge deployment; and developing evaluation frameworks. The position is hybrid in Alexandria, Virginia, with an additional location in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and requires at least two years of relevant software, machine learning, agent, cloud, and AI experience, a bachelor’s degree, and TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. The projected annualized compensation is $77,600 to $176,000 USD.
