Merck KGaA is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer for its Advanced Data Science team within Data Sciences in Healthcare. The role focuses on designing, prototyping, evaluating, and delivering agentic AI applications for pharmaceutical Research and Development, using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow orchestration, tool use, and human-in-the-loop workflows. The position is based in Israel and requires an advanced degree plus at least three years of professional or research experience in AI engineering, machine learning, natural language processing, or AI-enabled application development.
