Description
Google is hiring an Agentic Data Cloud Customer Engineer to serve as a technical subject matter expert for large accounts, partnering with sales specialists to execute technical pre-sales strategy and lead customer discovery for migrating legacy data estates to Google Cloud. The role designs, codes, and deploys production-grade data and artificial intelligence pipelines, including PySpark and dbt solutions, and demonstrates open lakehouse architectures using BigQuery, Spark, Vertex AI, and other Google Cloud services. The engineer will also conduct total cost-of-ownership analyses and optimize architectures to control enterprise spending. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and 10 years of relevant data, systems engineering, solutions architecture, or pre-sales experience, with listed work locations in the United States.
