Sekai is hiring a remote AI Agent Engineer to own the end-to-end development of autonomous agent systems for its consumer social platform. The role focuses on building long-horizon agentic workflows, evaluation and quality loops, model routing and reliability, observability, and production-ready agent systems. Candidates should have experience with agentic systems, distributed or real-time systems, Python and/or TypeScript, and shipping production systems; the position offers salary plus equity and full medical health insurance.

Required Previous Experiences: Experience building agentic systems with tool use, orchestration, retry/repair loops, and context management
Experience with distributed or real-time systems

Preferred Qualifications: Experience taking a customer-facing product from 0 to 1
Experience building coding agents, development tools, IDE assistants, or code-generation pipelines
Experience building evaluation frameworks

Experience training or fine-tuning LLMs
